With total footfall and revenue declining, the Post Office was under pressure to stay relevant and offer a retail experience that met modern consumer expectations.
To future proof Australia Post’s retail footprint, we needed to rethink how their 4,400 outlets and services were seen and used today. To stay on the front foot, we redefined their retail vision to help them shape their outlet, online and community offer.
Australia’s trust in Government and big business was at an all time low when people prefer to support small, local businesses that serve a social purpose.
With 4,500 unique shops in every local community across Australia they have all the ingredients to give people what they care about the most. They are so much more than a traditional retailer - they are The People’s Post Office
By rethinking the role of service and community retail, our work brought the Australia Post brand to life by finding ways to offer meaningful service experiences, improve employee and franchisee engagement as well as increase revenue.
